What wabetune offers, what Pro costs, how to get a refund, and the rest of the rules.
Who we are
wabetune is provided by Wabetune, Via Garibaldi 17, Varese, Italy. You can write to hello@wabetune.com about anything on this page.
What wabetune is
wabetune is a web application that listens while you play and keeps the measurements over time, so that the notes that drift show up as a pattern. It is an aid to practice. How precise a measurement is depends on your microphone, your room and your instrument, and wabetune does not certify that anyone plays in tune. We provide it as it is, and we do not promise that it will run without interruption or faults, beyond what the law gives you.
Free and Pro
You can use wabetune for fifteen sessions without paying and without an account. Pro removes that limit and keeps your archive without an end, and includes the report for your teacher. The price is shown on the payment form before you pay, and is the price you pay.
Pro is bought once. It is not a subscription and nothing renews. It belongs to the account you were signed in with when you paid, so sign in with the same Google account on every device. We may charge a different price to people who buy later; what you have bought is not affected.
Paying
You pay on a form that Stripe provides. We never see your card details. Once Stripe confirms the payment, we switch Pro on for your account, which can take a few moments.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of paying, for any reason, by writing to hello@wabetune.com. The 14 days are the period the law gives a consumer to withdraw from a distance contract, and we apply it without asking you to give a reason. When we refund a payment in full, we remove Pro from your account and the free limit applies again. After the 14 days, ask anyway: we will consider it.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for what happens under it. An account can hold up to 5,000 sessions or 100 megabytes; beyond that we accept no new sessions until you delete some. Please do not try to disturb the service, to read other people's data, or to use it in an automated way that costs us more than a person using it would.
You can delete your account at any time by writing to hello@wabetune.com. The privacy policy says what we then erase.
What is yours
What you play is yours: the sessions and progressions in your archive remain your data. You allow us to process them for as long as is needed to provide the service. The application, its design, its text and its name are ours, and these terms do not give you any right in them beyond using the service.
Changes to the service
We may change or remove a feature, and we may end the service. We will give reasonable notice of anything that affects what you have paid for.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits what the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, our liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the price you paid for Pro.
Law and courts
Italian law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of the country where you live give you, and you may bring a claim in the courts of the place where you live.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with them, and the app shows you any change that affects what you paid for before it applies to you.
